There was a courteous and helpful employee at the self check out today. I think his name is Steve. He took time to help me get the discount that was missing from my purchase, and went above and beyond to help me. I like the location of this Sprouts being near Bath & Body Works and Sephora. They also have a great selection of products and fresh produce. I’m happy they implemented a rewards points system too.

I want to recognize Tareg in the meat department for his outstanding customer service. He is always friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. His product recommendations are consistently excellent, and he takes the time to make sure I find exactly what I need. Tareg brings great energy to the store and has a down-to-earth personality that makes every visit enjoyable. Employees like him make a real difference in the customer experience! He is a tremendous asset to Sprouts. He deserves recognition for the exceptional work he does every day.

Sprouts Farmers Market – Bakersfield I’ve been shopping at Sprouts for a couple of years now, and I can honestly say that out of all the stores in Bakersfield — Trader Joe’s, Albertsons, and others — Sprouts stands out as superior. Their organic produce is consistently fresh and impressive. The meat department offers quality grass-fed options, and I appreciate the wide selection of organic foods throughout the store. The deli department is excellent as well — always fresh, always well stocked. But what truly sets Sprouts apart is the people. The staff treats customers like they genuinely value our business. If I ever need help finding something or ask them to check inventory in the back, they do it willingly and with a great attitude. That kind of service matters. I shop there with my service dog, Jasper, and we are always welcomed warmly and treated with respect. That speaks volumes. Sprouts has made grocery shopping something I actually enjoy. I rather enjoy sprouts. This location is convenient because of all the other stores in the plaza. Staff here is incredibly friendly and mindful of customers and their needs. I LOVE the bulk section, the whole store is very clean and well organized. They vary plenty of gourmet, vegan, and natural products from food to health care. The pre-made salads and meals are great. They also have a made-to-order sandwich counter people love. I appreciate the rewards program, it is actually worth you signing up for. Although they prioritize self-check out (that’s the business model), this location always has full service checkout ready. Free parking in the shared lot. It gets busy in this plaza so close parking may be difficult to find at peak hours. My only issue is that sometimes produce, particularly the garlic and lemons/limes, have gone bad on the shelf. But I am still shopping here literally 2-3 days/week!
